Emergency Interoperability Consortium (EIC)
The Emergency Interoperability Consortium (EIC) was launched in October 2002 to address our nation's critical lack of valid interoperability standards for emergency and incident management. The Consortium was created as a collaborative effort between private companies, public agencies and non-profit organizations to address the problem in a open forum. The EIC has become a powerful advocate for the development and adoption of standards for using Web services and Extensible Markup Language (XML) to facilitate the exchange of data between:

  • Agencies
  • Non-government/Non-profit Organizations
  • Private Companies
  • Legacy systems
  • New Technology
 
The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM)
The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM), which has members in 58 countries, is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the goals of saving lives and protecting property during emergencies and disasters.
 
The Missouri Association of Counties (MAC)
The Missouri Association of Counties (MAC), founded in 1972 and celebrating its 37th year of service, is a nonprofit corporation established to provide assistance to its member counties in matters pertaining to local, state, and federal government activities.
 
The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA)
The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) is the premier global association that strives to stimulate the growth of mobile marketing and its associated technology. MMA members include agencies, advertisers, hand held device manufacturers, carriers and operators, retailers, software providers and service providers, as well as any company focused on the potential of marketing via mobile devices.
 
The National Association of Counties (NACo)
The National Association of Counties (NACo) is the only national organization that represents county governments in the United States. Founded in 1935, NACo provides essential services to the nation’s 3,066 counties. NACo advances issues with a unified voice before the federal government, improves the public's understanding of county government, assists counties in finding and sharing innovative solutions through education and research, and provides value-added services to save counties and taxpayers money.
 
National Emergency Management Association (NEMA)
NEMA is the professional association of and for emergency management directors from all 50 states, eight territories and the District of Columbia. We provide national leadership and expertise in comprehensive emergency management; serve as a vital emergency management information and assistance resource; and advance continuous improvement in emergency management through strategic partnerships, innovative programs and collaborative policy positions.
 
National Sheriffs Association (NSA)
The National Sheriffs' Association, now in its sixty-eighth year of serving law enforcement and other criminal justice professionals of the nation, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field. Through the years, NSA has provided programs for Sheriffs, their deputies, chiefs of police, and others in the field of criminal justice to perform their jobs in the best possible manner and to better serve the people of their cities, counties or jurisdictions.
 
Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS)
OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) is a not-for-profit consortium that drives the development, convergence and adoption of open standards for the global information society. The consortium produces more Web services standards than any other organization along with standards for security, e-business, and standardization efforts in the public sector and for application-specific markets. Founded in 1993, OASIS has more than 5,000 participants representing over 600 organizations and individual members in 100 countries.
 
Organization for the Promotion and Advancement of Small Telecommunications (OPASTCO)
OPASTCO (Organization for the Promotion and Advancement of Small Telecommunications) is an industry leader in rural telecom policy, technical issues, member-run committees, education, knowledge-sharing, and networking. Members enjoy unparalleled access to OPASTCO staff that have the regulatory, legislative and technical expertise necessary to navigate today’s telecom world.
 
Rural Cellular Association (RCA)
RCA (Rural Cellular Association) has been at the heart of the rural wireless success story since it began in 1992. Our primary focus is representing two-way wireless communication providers with less than 500,000 subscribers. These companies primarily serve small rural markets each with its own set of challenges and opportunities. RCA’s primary goal is to help our members meet those challenges successfully and capitalize on all opportunities. In addition, RCA provides opportunities to learn more about the industry and network with other members through various meetings and seminars.
